Responsible for the continued development of the strategic marketing direction, upstream as well as downstream, Antonio takes full responsibility of the execution of the marketing strategy and he will play a vital part in transforming the department into being a truly Global Marketing team to support the ambitious growth journey of HOYA Surgical Optics.
Antonio joins HSO from Alcon and brings 16 years consolidated experience in the ophthalmology industry based on solid competence in sales, marketing and business development. During his career he went through a journey of leadership positions and critical assignments across several different geographies and cultures. He was leading both EMEA and ASIA Surgical Regional Marketing for Alcon with the task to build a long term sustainable franchise business that is forward thinking. Moreover, he successfully led the Alcon Surgical Business in fast growing markets like Turkey and Russia.
